About the role

Commis Cook position at Funan Singapore.

This is a 3-month temporary contract role working fixed hours from 3:30am to 1pm, 5 days per week including weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and store food and fruits
• Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
• Serve food (soup, desserts, sides, entrees) in proper portions onto dishes, plates, mugs, and bowls, ensuring proper plate appearance
• Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish to be served to waiters or patrons according to standards
• Ensure food storage areas are clean
• Ensure all food products are stored properly in their appropriate fridges and storage containers throughout shift
• Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served to control food waste and ensure that good food is not thrown away

About you

• Possess Nitec in F&B or any related qualification
• Basic cooking skill
• 1 year of experience
• Transportation to work is provided
• Singaporean
• Able to commit fully for 3 months - convertible if required based on performance
