What they need
- Execute daily ingredient preparation as directed by the Chef de Partie.
- Assist in cooking and plating during service, following recipe and presentation standards.
- Ensure proper storage and FIFO protocols for all ingredients within the section.
- Keep walk-in coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas clean and organized.
- Maintain a clean workspace; clean and sanitize surfaces and equipment continuously.
- Safely operate kitchen machinery and report damage to the Chef de Partie.
- Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and product knowledge.
- Work with the Kitchen Helper and other Commis to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
