Location: Al Ain, UAE
Salary: AED 1,800–2,000 per month

Fold Bakehouse is looking for an energetic and reliable Commis II to support a new pizza concept in Al Ain.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior kitchen professional who has basic pizza, bakery or hot-kitchen experience and wants to develop practical skills in dough handling, pizza preparation and organised kitchen operations.

The successful candidate must be flexible, willing to learn and comfortable assisting across preparation, service, cleaning and general kitchen duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support daily pizza and Bacio mise en place
• Prepare and portion toppings, fillings and ingredients
• Assist with dough trays, dough balls and proofing arrangements
• Support pizza and Bacio assembly during service
• Learn basic dough handling, shaping and stretching
• Assist the Chef de Partie and Commis I as instructed
• Label, store and rotate ingredients correctly
• Maintain workstation cleanliness and organisation
• Wash and sanitise equipment, utensils and food-contact surfaces
• Replenish ingredients and packaging during service
• Follow portion-control and recipe requirements
• Support stock checks and minimise food waste
• Follow all food-safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
• Participate in practical training and competency reviews

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Basic experience in pizza, bakery, hot kitchen or food preparation
• Fundamental understanding of kitchen hygiene and mise en place
• Willingness to learn pizza and dough-production techniques
• Able to follow instructions accurately
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Positive attitude and good teamwork
• Flexible and willing to assist across different kitchen duties
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to relocate to or work in Al Ain
• Available to join immediately or on short notice is strongly preferred

PACKAGE

• AED 1,800–2,000 monthly salary
• Salary is inclusive of accommodation and transportation
• Duty meals are not included
• One weekly day off
• Employment, visa and statutory benefits in accordance with applicable UAE requirements and the agreed employment arrangement

SELECTION PROCESS

Shortlisted candidates will attend an interview and practical assessment covering basic preparation, hygiene, organisation, portioning, ability to follow instructions and general kitchen aptitude.
