The role

Milestone Fidelity Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Commis - Pastry & Bakery to join our dynamic team in Ipoh, Perak. As a Commis - Pastry & Bakery, you will play a vital role in supporting our bakery operations and contributing to the creation of delicious pastries and baked goods.

Key responsibilities

1. Assisting the Pastry Chef in the preparation, production and presentation of a variety of pastries, breads and other baked goods
2. Adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards throughout the production process
3. Accurately following recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent quality
4. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in the pastry and bakery sections
5. Collaborating with the wider pastry team to support the smooth running of the kitchen
6. Continually learning and developing your skills in the art of pastry and baking

What we're looking for

1. Formal training or qualification in baking or pastry arts, or equivalent work experience
2. Demonstrated expertise in preparing a range of pastries, breads and baked goods
3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
4. Excellent time management and organisational skills to work efficiently under pressure
5. A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
6. Compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
