Commissary Associate

Commissary Associate will handle the commissary release of stocks as requested and ordered by the store. He/she will be responsible on keeping track of released and delivered items, making it sure that goods are complete and in good condition upon arrival to the store. He/she shall also maintain records and inventory of all the goods dispatched every day and shall ensure that there will be no discrepancies on the records and monitoring. As a Commissary Associate, he/she is also assigned on the whole process of loading and unloading of goods for deliveries and goods/stocks delivered to Commissary.

Duties And Responsibilities Stocking

• Handles the management of proper packaging of orders.
• Ensures that all dispatched orders are complete, released and delivered on time.
• Assist in doing physical count inventory.
• Monitor all returned bad orders and rejected goods and the release of replacement orders.
• Coordinate with Commissary Manager for any lacking items that will not be included in the dispatched orders.
• Checks and assists in ensuring proper storage of materials inside the warehouse to conform to standard warehousing procedures and parameters.
• Assists in updating and recording all goods transactions to the system log and coordinates with production planning, stock forecasting, and inventory control group for inventory status.
• Assists and checks requested materials issued to production/stores.
• Prepares monitoring/reports for bulk deliveries.
• Reports all problems pertaining to stock dispatching.
• Updates stock cards or log for all issuance and receipts on a daily basis.
• Ensures that items dispatched are in accordance with FIFO, no near expiring items (based on shelf life guide) will be dispatched.

Dispatch

• Checks packed goods and other orders before finalizing the delivery details.
• Ensures that all the goods prepared are in accordance to the orders received from the stores/clients.
• Assist in the preparation of orders.
• Counts all the goods charged on the delivery vehicle and updates the tracking system to ensure that goods charged will arrive complete and in good condition.
• Does unloading/discharging of goods delivered to us. Checks receipts and records and ensure that delivered goods are in right count and amount.
• Reports unnecessary findings seen during the goods assessment to immediately address it.
• Ensuring that the deliveries and pickups are done per allocated timeline.
• Always coordinates schedule of dispatch to the Warehouse Officer and Commissary Manager for proper recording.
• Assist in other warehousing duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to him/her from time to time.
