Commissary Staff

Key responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and storing food and beverage deliveries in accordance with established safety and quality standards

• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts to ensure adequate supplies are available

• Preparing and portioning ingredients for use by the bar and kitchen teams

• Organizing storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers in a clean, orderly, and hygienic manner

• Rotating stock using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method to minimize wastage and ensure product freshness

• Assisting with the cleaning and sanitation of commissary areas and equipment

• Following all food safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of perishable items

• Supporting the broader food and beverage team with additional duties as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a commissary, kitchen, or food preparation environment within the hospitality industry

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with a willingness to comply with all health regulations

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and record-keeping

• Physical fitness and capability to perform duties involving lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods

• Communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Flexibility to work according to operational needs, including potential early morning shifts

• A genuine commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards at all times
