Commissioning Engineer – Warehouse, Conveyor & Baggage Automation

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 6 Days/Week | 12-Hour Shifts
Travel: 50–80%

IC Pro Americas Inc. is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer with strong Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation experience to support large-scale warehouse automation, conveyor systems, airport baggage handling, sortation, and material handling projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLC-based conveyor and automation systems and be comfortable working at customer sites during installation, startup, troubleshooting, FAT/SAT, and commissioning.

Key Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in industrial automation, controls, commissioning, or field service.
• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on site/field experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation.
• Strong experience with Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk View, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, GuardLogix, and PowerFlex.
• Experience with PLC commissioning, I/O checkout, startup, troubleshooting, FAT/SAT, and field commissioning.
• Conveyor automation experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with warehouse automation, airport baggage handling, sortation systems, or material handling is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience with conveyor controls, motors, VFDs, sensors, scanners, actuators, photoeyes, and automated material handling equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting automation systems at customer/operational sites.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, P&IDs, and industrial network diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel 50–80% and work 6 days/week and 12-hour shifts during commissioning projects.
• U.S. work authorization required. Sponsorship is not available.
• Candidates based in Mexico may be considered if they have valid U.S. work authorization.
