Commissioning Engineer

Location: Based in Bromsgrove, UK (with extensive international travel)

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will report directly to the Project Management team. You will learn how to safely and efficiently install, factory commission, onsite commission, repair, and maintain Excool’s industry-leading units on construction sites and customer premises globally.

Important Travel Notice: International work and regular absences from home are a core part of this role. You must be comfortable staying away during weekdays and travelling internationally for weeks at a time.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Operations: Investigate, diagnose, and repair faults, reporting critical issues immediately to the Project Team.
• Client Relations: Keep the Projects team updated on schedules and ensure professional, effective information flow with clients.
• Safety & Compliance: Perform all works safely in line with the company Health & Safety manual and policy procedures.
• Stock & Documentation: Track spare parts, report to the service manager, and submit comprehensive, accurate records of work carried out.
• Technical Growth: Learn the operation of every component within an Excool unit and support the on-call system as a call-out engineer.

What We Are Looking For

• A genuine desire to launch a long-term career in engineering.
• Basic knowledge or ability to complete mechanical, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
• The ability to read, understand, and follow technical drawings and schematics.
• A Full, clean driving licence and a Valid Passport (essential for travel).
• Willingness to undergo a BPSS Check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard).
• A CSCS Card is highly desirable, though not strictly essential to start.
