Commissioning Expert - Data Center Project

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary commissioning authority and single point of contact for the Client, PMC, End User, General Contractor (GC), and Commissioning Agent (CxA).

• Provide leadership, governance, and technical oversight for all commissioning activities across Electrical, Mechanical, and ELV systems.

• Lead the development, review, and approval of commissioning plans, tagging plans, FAT procedures, load bank testing plans, method statements, sequences of operation (SOO), IST procedures, and turnover documentation.

• Manage and direct Commissioning Managers and Discipline Commissioning Leads to ensure successful project execution.

• Chair commissioning meetings, technical reviews, workshops, and stakeholder coordination sessions.

• Monitor commissioning readiness, risks, progress, deficiencies, and corrective actions to achieve project milestones.

• Lead the resolution of critical technical issues and ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and operational requirements.

• Provide executive-level commissioning reports, recommendations, and status updates to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 weeks notice

• Minimum 15 years of commissioning experience , including mission-critical facilities and data center projects.

• Proven experience managing commissioning activities : Integrated Systems Testing (IST) , operational readiness, and project handover.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary commissioning teams and key project stakeholders.
