Commissioning Manager – Data Centers

Location: National / Traveling

Region: South, Southeast & East Coast

A leading data center infrastructure partner is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to provide owner-level technical oversight across multiple large-scale data center projects.

The role will oversee the end-to-end commissioning and quality control process , from pre-functional testing through functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, and final turnover. You will work closely with general contractors, trade partners, vendors, engineering teams, and client stakeholders to identify and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide owner-level representation and technical oversight across multiple data center projects
• Manage commissioning and QC processes from pre-functional testing through turnover
• Coordinate daily field activities with GCs, trade partners, and commissioning agents
• Review commissioning scripts, MOPs, MEP schematics, and test reports
• Ensure MEP systems meet design intent and operational requirements

Ideal background:

• Extensive mission-critical / large-scale data center experience
• Strong MEP, testing, commissioning, or QC background
• Knowledge of critical power distribution, UPS, generators, chillers, CRAH/CRAC and BMS
• Comfortable working directly with major GCs, engineering teams, and client stakeholders
