• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and quantitative research to identify trading opportunities and assess market risks.
• Utilize advanced financial software tools such as Bloomberg and SQL databases to analyze market data, develop trading strategies, and monitor portfolio performance.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, understanding client needs, and providing tailored investment solutions.
• Monitor industry news, economic indicators, and regulatory changes to stay ahead of market movements and adjust trading strategies accordingly.
• Manage financial risk by implementing robust risk analysis techniques, including derivative trading strategies and risk management protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to compliance standards while optimizing asset management objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience practicing in the securities industry with a focus on commodity trading or related financial markets.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts such as securities law, derivatives trading, fixed income markets, and financial risk management.
• Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, sales, client relationship development, and effective communication skills.
• Technical proficiency in Bloomberg Terminal, Excel data analysis, SQL databases, and financial software platforms.
• Solid understanding of industry regulations including FINRA standards and securities compliance requirements.
• Ability to perform quantitative financial analysis using math-based approaches to evaluate market trends and investment opportunities.
• Experience managing financial risk through research, risk analysis techniques, and derivative trading strategies.
