Commodities/FIC Trade Surveillance Associate

Our client, a niche trading business based in the City of London are keen to hire an addition to their friendly Trade and E Comms Surveillance Team. The firm offer a strong work/life balance 3 days a week in the office and the role will cover both trade and e comms surveillance. Reporting to the head of surveillance duties will include:

• Analysing Commodity trades for front running, layering and spoofing etc
• Analysing and reporting around e comms and voice monitoring
• Responding to queries from front office, exchanges and regulators
• Clearing false/positives
• Monitoring and recording of PA dealing
• MI & reporting
• Desk reviews
• Compliance training
• Contributing to Compliance calibration and strategy

We are keen to hear from candidates with a strong background in trade surveillance covering Commodities, F&O or Fixed Income products from a Commodities Trading, Broking, Market Making or Algo Trading background looking for a varied market abuse role.
