Commodity Buyer

Job Title: Commodity Buyer

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage metal commodities such as Stamping, Forging, Casting, and Lamination.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers.
• Handle RFQs, quotation analysis, negotiations, and sourcing for new projects.
• Procure raw materials and components while identifying local sourcing opportunities.
• Create and manage purchase orders and track revisions.
• Drive annual cost reduction and supplier negotiations.
• Develop commodity sourcing strategies and manage spend.
• Lead localization of imported parts for current and new projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and regularly interact with global counterparts in Germany.
