Commodity Manager

Duties:

• Establish strategic for assigned commodity by performing benchmarking and cost analysis in awareness of the marked trend to preserve the right purchasing decision
• Ensure optimum prices, specifications, delivery and quality raw materials to support production
• Communicate with Design Centers and factories to implement commodity strategy and monitor market trend and practices
• Maintain and build up rapport with major suppliers in the region

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering preferred
• 6-8 years experience in electronic or semi-conductor industry in which at least 3 years in supervisory position
• Extensive knowledge of sourcing electronic components and mechanical parts, with practical experience managing the related supplier base
• Established contacts to major suppliers in components market, particularly in Asia
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Able to work independently, detail oriented with analytical mind
• Occasional travel is required
