Commodity Manager - Global Commodity Management

该职位来源于猎聘 POSITION SUMMARY The Commodity Manager for Production Materials is a key member of the Global Commodity Management team. This role supports the development and execution of sourcing strategies across multiple regions and product categories. The incumbent is responsible for supplier management, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives related to assigned commodities. He or she will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, production, quality, and logistics—to ensure that supplier capabilities align with company objectives for quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability. The position demands strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a global mindset to manage complex supply chains effectively. Responsibilities：

• Coordinate supplier onboarding according to project requirements. Ensure new suppliers meet technical, quality, and commercial standards before mass production. Conduct supplier audits and facilitate qualification processes.
• Drive supplier relocation projects when necessary to optimize cost, logistics, or risk exposure. Manage timelines, resource allocation, and communication between internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth transitions.
• Develop and maintain commodity strategies aligned with corporate sourcing goals. Analyze market trends, benchmark competitors, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and innovation. Present strategy updates to management quarterly.
• Lead annual price negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost targets while maintaining long-term partnerships. Prepare negotiation plans, analyze cost breakdowns, and document agreements in compliance with company policy.
• Monitor global material trends, including price fluctuations, supply risks, and technological advancements. Provide regular reports and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Act as the escalation point for delivery shortages. Coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and production teams to resolve issues promptly and prevent recurrence. Maintain accurate tracking and root-cause analysis documentation. Required:
