Commodity Performance Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Commodity Performance Lead to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will focus on supplier performance management, delivery execution, and cross-functional issue resolution within a complex manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will partner closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve schedule adherence, address operational risks, and support overall supply chain resilience. Strong analytical judgment and executive communication skills will be essential for driving accountability and improving performance across a matrixed organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $107,500 – $204,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain delivery schedules in partnership with suppliers.
• Communicate supplier challenges and action items to relevant stakeholders.
• Drive resolution of actions owned by the company and suppliers.
• Build and maintain relationships with supplier counterparts to enhance performance.
• Discuss technical and resource challenges based on manufacturing experience.
• Travel domestically 25-50% for supplier engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in relevant fields, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• U.S. citizenship or eligibility for export authorizations required.
• Experience in supplier performance improvement and development.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills related to supplier oversight.
• Proven ability to influence across a matrix organization and lead executive-level briefings.
