What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing a portfolio of broadacre clients, building strong commercial relationships and becoming their primary contact for marketing discussions.
• Understanding each grower’s business, capacity and exposure, and guiding them through converting commodities to cash, balancing pricing opportunities, delivery options and risk appetite.
• Maintaining regular client communication through calls, meetings and timely responsiveness - especially during periods of market movement.
• Managing and growing the Pinion client book through existing warm leads and relationship expansion as you build trust.
• Supporting adjacent areas in market intelligence, price discovery and supply chain coordination, and/or project involvement depending on your skills and interests.
• Operating within the natural rhythm of commodity markets: structured mornings for planning and client prep; reactive afternoons aligned with market activity.

What You’ll Need for This Position

• 3–5 years’ experience in agribusiness roles such as originator/accumulator, logistics or supply chain coordination, trading support, or similar environments.
• Understanding of, or strong aptitude to learn, grain and oilseed markets and grower-facing commercial decision-making.
• Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities - comfortable handling multiple moving parts, especially when markets or logistics change quickly.
• Strong relationship and communication skills, with the ability to balance assertiveness and diplomacy to get deals across the line while maintaining trust.
• Critical thinking skills and judgement - able to analyse pricing, weigh trade-offs, and translate complexity into clear advice.
• Digital fluency in learning new technology. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Degree in agribusiness, commerce, economics, supply chain, or related fields preferred.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel (~10%).
