Commodity Trading Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commodity Trading Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the trading desk by managing trade execution, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and facilitating seamless communication between traders, clients, and internal departments.

Duties

• Assist with the execution of commodity trades, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct data analysis in Excel to evaluate market trends, risk factors, and trading performance metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate effective communication on trade status, client instructions, and operational updates.
• Maintain detailed bookkeeping records of transactions, ensuring accuracy for audit purposes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Excel data analysis.
• Familiarity with agriculture and agricultural commodities.
• Excellent internal communication skills to coordinate effectively with traders, compliance teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in customers service, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
