Communication & Content Intern (Unpaid)

Mutiara Harapan Islamic School is a SPK school that implements the Cambridge Curriculum while integrating Islamic values into the learning environment. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Communication & Content Intern to support our school communication, social media, and content creation activities.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in creating engaging content for the school's social media platforms.
• Support the development of photos, videos, reels, stories, and other digital content.
• Assist in covering school activities, events, programs, and student achievements.
• Help write captions, announcements, and other communication materials.
• Support the Communication/Marketing team in planning and executing content calendars.
• Assist with basic photo and video editing.
• Monitor social media trends and propose creative content ideas.

Requirements

• University student or fresh graduate, preferably from Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field.
• Interested in social media, digital content, branding, and communication.
• Creative, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Familiar with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Comfortable working in a school environment and attending school events when required.
• Able to commit to a minimum 3-month internship period.

This is an unpaid internship position. No salary or internship allowance will be provided. The internship is intended as a learning and professional development opportunity, with practical exposure to communication and content creation in a school environment.
