Communication Design Intern

The ideal candidate is responsible, open to feedback, and comfortable working collaboratively with different people. They should have a positive attitude, good manners, and be willing to support different types of creative assignments as part of the museum’s day-to-day work.

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and excited to learn through real projects and experiences within a contemporary art museum.

What you'll be doing:

• Assist the in-house team with day-to-day graphic design assignments.
• Create and adapt visual assets for social media and digital platforms.
• Support the production of posters, invitations, event materials, digital banners, presentations, and other communication materials.
• Resize and adapt existing key visuals and designs into different formats for digital and print use.
• Assist with basic image editing, layout, typography, and artwork preparation.
• Support simple motion graphics or video content when required.
• Assist with basic product and merchandise design, including adapting existing visual identities and artwork for merchandise applications.
• Provide product development support as assigned by the Communications team.
• Assist with the design of stationery and other internal communication materials.
• Support communication with external vendors and production partners, including sharing artwork, clarifying design specifications, and coordinating production requirements.
• Assist with the fabrication and production process of design work, including artwork preparation, proof checking, and addressing production-related design issues.
• Assist with design requests for exhibitions, programs, and other museum teams as assigned through the Communications team.
• Make design revisions based on feedback and creative direction.
• Organize design files and working materials appropriately.
• Support other related creative assignments as needed

What we're looking for:

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Knowledge of After Effects and/or Premiere Pro is an advantage.
• Strong foundation in typography, layout, composition, and visual communication.
• Good attention to detail and visual sensitivity.
• Able to communicate and understand working instructions in Thai and English.
• Interest in contemporary art, museums, culture, and design is an advantage.

Portfolio are required:

• Applicants should submit a portfolio demonstrating their graphic design and visual communication skills. University, personal, freelance, and professional projects are all welcome.
• Experience in motion graphics, video, product design, or merchandise design is a plus, but not required.
