To strengthen our team, and in pursuit of new business opportunities, we are seeking an experienced Communications & Stakeholder Manager for Energy projects in Melbourne.

About the Role

• Principal point of contact for local community groups
• Identifies opportunities and initiates programs for community participation in a range of areas that have the potential to strengthen relationships with key project stakeholders.
• Encourages community participation in development of strategies for dealing with environmental and health issues.
• Developing and writing high quality, impactful communication materials
• Planning and implementing innovative stakeholder engagement approaches
• Managing customer service and responding to community and stakeholder enquiries
• Documenting, tracking, and reporting engagement and communication activities
• Supporting the planning and delivery of community events and information sessions
• Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships across teams and with external stakeholders

About You

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent discipline
• Experienced with heavy infrastructure projects
• Experience in communications, public relations, journalism, stakeholder engagement, marketing, or community development
• Strong writing skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible messages
• A proactive, solution focused approach to building strong relationships with stakeholder and community
• Strong organisational skills, including experience documenting and reporting activities
