Communications Assistant

Looking for a communications assistant on a contract basis

• Provide support for Communications Corner requests, including:
• Website content updates and basic site maintenance
• Form creation and updates (Microsoft Word)
• Coordination of internal and external communications requests
• Assist with outreach and event coordination by:
• Preparing and organizing event materials (tablecloths, brochures, promotional items)
• Supporting event logistics, setup, and breakdown (onsite)
• Ensuring materials are ready for outreach activities
• Coordinate vendor orders and production needs, including:
• Swag and promotional item orders
• Printing and communications materials
• Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery
• Provide administrative and scheduling support:
• Manage calendars and coordinate meetings
• Assist with communications timelines and planning
• Support content creation and digital communications:
• Draft social media posts and basic communications content
• Create graphics aligned with OCERS brand standards
• Working off of templates
• Monitor and track social media engagement:
• Review performance across platforms
• Provide basic analytics and insights
• Capture photos and videos at events for use in:
• Social media
• Website updates
• Internal communications
