Duties

• Develop and write engaging content for press releases, website updates, social media posts, and internal communications using AP style guidelines.
• Assist in managing social media channels by creating content marketing strategies, scheduling posts, and analyzing engagement metrics.
• Support media relations efforts by preparing briefing materials, coordinating interviews, and tracking media coverage.
• Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive messaging to inform communication strategies.
• Proofread and edit all communication materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across platforms.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing content for digital campaigns and publications.
• Help organize events, webinars, or community outreach activities to promote organizational initiatives.
• Manage website content updates and monitor online presence to ensure information remains current and relevant. Manage social media.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills with proficiency in AP style for journalistic accuracy and professionalism.
• Strong research abilities to gather relevant information quickly and effectively.
• Experience in public speaking or presenting ideas confidently to diverse audiences.
• Background in journalism or strategic communications is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to proofread meticulously and edit content for clarity and impact.
• Knowledge of media relations tactics and social media management tools.
• Skills in website management, graphic design basics, and content marketing are a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Prior experience working in professional communications or public relations roles is advantageous.
