Communications Coordinator

About the role

This is a varied, hands-on position covering marketing, digital communications, brand management, content creation and events. Reporting to the Tumuaki/Principal, you will contribute to and implement communications strategy, strengthen the Inspired Kindergartens brand, create engaging content and coordinate relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and implementing marketing campaigns and communication strategies
• Planning the annual marketing budget and reporting on variances
• Managing relationships with agencies, web developers, printers, media and other suppliers
• Coordinating communications with kindergarten services
• Protecting and developing the Inspired Kindergartens brand, including its logos, templates and style guide
• Maintaining website content and coordinating upgrades
• Managing social media channels and social media marketing
• Coordinating media releases and other publications
• Overseeing the design, proofing, printing and distribution of marketing collateral
• Preparing reports for the Board and management, including website and social media reporting

About you

• A relevant diploma or at least five years' experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer and digital skills
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Sound problem-solving ability
• The confidence to work with senior leaders, head teachers, administrators, suppliers and colleagues
• A proactive, creative and collaborative approach
