Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Community, a multicultural parish of 4,600 families located in

Manvel, Texas, in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, is seeking a Communications Coordinator

to join our parish staff. This dedicated team member will manage and support parish

communications across print and digital platforms to ensure clear, timely, and consistent

communications. Duties include managing and updating the parish website; producing the weekly

bulletin and e-newsletter; overseeing parish social media and digital communications; promoting

parish events, ministries, and initiatives; coordinating livestream volunteers; collaborating with staff

and ministry leaders to gather and distribute information; and staying current with emerging

communications tools, platforms and media through ongoing professional development. Qualified

candidates have strong writing, editing, organizational, and digital communication skills. A

bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field is preferred,

along with relevant professional experience. Bilingual or experience in intercultural ministry are a
