Communications Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Communications Lead to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will shape external messaging, elevate executive thought leadership, and guide how the organization shows up across press, media, and public-facing channels. The Communications Lead will partner closely with executives, customers, investors, and cross-functional teams to build compelling narratives that support business priorities. This is a highly visible position focused on translating complex technology into clear, credible stories that resonate with media and other key audiences.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $184,000 – $230,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop key narratives in partnership with executives, customers, and investors
• Execute the external communications strategy and media plans
• Own the executive voice strategy for press opportunities and thought leadership
• Manage relationships with PR agencies to drive effective media coverage
• Advise executives on communication strategies for media opportunities and public engagements
• Amplify company campaigns through cross-functional collaboration with marketing and product teams

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in communications, PR, and/or brand leadership in high-growth technology companies
• Deep understanding of the technology industry and ability to translate complex concepts into clear narratives
• Proven track record managing PR agencies and delivering measurable results
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with fluency in executive voice
• Strong media relations experience with established relationships in tech journalism
