People First Consult is looking for a Communication Manager on behalf of one of its clients, a company in the beer and beverage sector . **Position: Communication Manager

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Role Summary The Communication Manager will lead the organization's corporate communications, public relations, media relations and stakeholder engagement agenda. The role will provide strategic communication advice to the CEO and senior leadership, strengthen corporate reputation and visibility, and manage communication risks and issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the corporate communications and PR strategy and annual plan.
• Lead media relations, press engagement, corporate announcements and public relations activities.
• Manage relationships with government institutions, regulators, industry associations and other strategic stakeholders.
• Lead corporate reputation, issues and crisis communication.
• Develop executive communications, speeches, key messages, press releases and other corporate content.
• Coordinate corporate events, stakeholder engagements and visibility initiatives.
• Work with Marketing and Digital teams to align corporate and digital communications.
• Monitor media coverage, public perception and emerging reputational risks.
• Manage PR agencies, external communication partners and the corporate communications budget.
• Prepare regular corporate communications reports and dashboards for management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations or a related field.
• Experience in FMCG, beverage, manufacturing, consumer goods or a multinational corporate environment is an advantage.
• Proven experience working with senior executives, media, government institutions and external stakeholders.
