Communications Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a Communications professional to support organizational initiatives, business changes, and internal communications efforts.

This role provides an opportunity to develop and deliver clear, engaging communications for a variety of audiences while partnering with organizational leaders and subject matter experts. The successful candidate will help translate complex business information into accessible messaging and ensure communications are aligned with organizational priorities and business objectives.

This position offers a flexible hybrid work environment, combining remote work with regular in-office collaboration and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication plans that support organizational priorities, initiatives, and change management efforts
• Partner with Communications and Change Management leadership to develop and deliver clear messaging related to organizational changes
• Manage communication timelines, deliverables, and execution across multiple projects simultaneously
• Write clear, compelling content for a variety of communication channels, including:
• • Executive communications
  • Emails
  • Newsletters
  • Intranet content
  • Talking points
  • Video scripts
  • Presentations
• Develop messaging for complex, sensitive, or business-critical topics
• Translate complex business information into clear and accessible communications for employees
• Develop communications tailored to multiple audiences, including:
• • Executive leadership
  • Senior leaders
  • People leaders
  • Team members
• Collaborate with business leaders and subject matter experts to gather information, understand key messages, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
• Maintain communication strategies, editorial calendars, content plans, and project timelines
• Identify communication needs and recommend appropriate:
• • Audiences
  • Communication channels
  • Timing
  • Messaging approaches
• Support internal newsletters and ongoing organizational communications from initial topic development through final distribution
• Ensure communications are accurate, consistent, engaging, and aligned with organizational messaging and priorities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor#39;s degree or higher
• 3+ years of professional experience in at least one of the following areas:
• • Communications
  • Marketing
  • Journalism
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop clear and engaging content for different audiences
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and communication deliverables simultaneously
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with leaders and subject matter experts
• Ability to simplify complex information and communicate it effectively to diverse audiences
