Communications Specialist

Everforth ECS is seeking a Communications Specialist to work remotely .

Everforth ECS is seeking a highly skilled Communications Specialist in developing and implementing effective communication strategies supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and migration of Atlassian products into the Atlassian Government Cloud environment. The successful candidate will provide technical subject matter expertise, synthesize feedback from working groups, and develop strategic messaging materials to support stakeholder engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and synthesize feedback from working group discussions into actionable themes and content for inclusion in draft communications, ensuring that key recommendations and insights are captured and reflected in the final product.
• Provide strategic feedback and assistance with external stakeholder communications to socialize the upcoming migration, ensuring that key messages are effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Support strategic engagements with DHS Component tenants, developing and implementing effective communication strategies to share information about the migration.
• Develop strategic messaging materials, including talking points, briefing slides, and other communication tools, to support stakeholder engagement efforts.

Salary Range: $105,000- $115,000 General Description Of Benefits Required Skills

• Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Policy, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in communications, public policy, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex information and synthesize feedback into actionable themes and content.
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
