About us

Puzl CowOrKing is on a mission to Connect IT Across CEE. We connect the IT community online and offline, building physical locations in the capital cities of CEE, with an online network to complement them.

You'd be joining Puzl CowOrKing Budapest , our first location in Hungary, set in an emblematic former textile factory in the heart of Budapest. Once the renovation is complete, its coworking and serviced offices will host 850 IT humans, along with a large event space and a unique community space: part café, part bar, part restaurant. With 200 seats in operation and 250 more under renovation, we're looking for an ambitious, motivated professional to join our growing local team.

The role

You'll be the right hand of our Budapest Site Lead, and that takes two things: being someone founders and partners take seriously, and real doer fiber. When something needs doing, you do it and see it through.

This isn't a "sit at the front desk" kind of role. You'll sit out in the open with our members, help run the house, and carry Puzl beyond our walls: at events and in meetings. The balance shifts with the season: some months are full of meetups and outreach, others are more about the house.

Our goal is simple: a full house. Next year we're also opening a new section that we want to fill fast, and you'll be at the heart of both.

What you'll be doing

Running the house

• Keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, and hold the fort on your own when needed.
• Own the member journey: onboarding, introductions, and a smooth goodbye when someone moves on.
• Be members' first point of contact, and follow every request through until it's closed.
• Keep the space in great shape, working with facilities and vendors on anything that needs fixing or improving.

Growing the community: inside the house

• Get to know our members and connect the people who should meet, online and offline.
• Be around for member meetings and events: help out, mingle, and notice early when someone isn't happy.
• Keep our member channels and community platform alive.

Growing the community: out in the world

• Turn interest into members: handle inquiries, give tours and follow up until they move in.
• Represent Puzl at conferences, meetups and startup events, and spread the word about what we're building.
• Be part of how Puzl shows up online: pitch ideas for posts and videos, and give honest feedback on the content we put out across our platforms.

Where it can take you

We're growing into new space in the building, including a dedicated event space. Once you know how Puzl works, you'll have a real say in where you go next: building out our events, or moving further into sales, marketing and partnerships.

What you'll bring

• 2+ years in a people-facing role where you brought in clients, members or partners: community, sales, partnerships, account management, startup operations or hospitality.
• Experience representing a company outside the office: at events, in client or partner meetings, or through outreach.
• Fluent Hungarian and English. We work across Budapest and Sofia every day.
