Looking for a Job Where You're More Than Just a Number?
Come and join our little care family at Charnwood Community Care!
We're a small, family-run style domiciliary care company with a big heart, and we're looking for kind, caring and reliable people to join our growing team.
We're not a large corporate care agency. We believe in keeping things personal, getting to know our carers and service users, and creating a friendly, supportive environment where everyone feels valued.
For us, care isn't just about ticking boxes or rushing through tasks. It's about making people smile, having a chat over a cup of tea, sharing a laugh and helping people continue doing the things they love.
We're looking for the right people, not just the right CVs!
Whether you've worked in care for years or you're completely new to it, if you're compassionate, patient and genuinely enjoy helping others, we'd love to hear from you.
What Does the Role Involve?
You'll be visiting people in their own homes, providing friendly, person-centred support that makes a genuine difference to their day.
Your day might include:

Having a cup of tea and a friendly chat with someone who enjoys companionship.

Providing personal care, including supporting individuals with washing, bathing, dressing, toileting and maintaining personal hygiene, while always promoting dignity and independence.

Helping with shopping, errands and everyday tasks.

Taking someone out for a coffee, to appointments or on little outings.

Preparing meals and drinks.

Helping with light household tasks.

Encouraging independence and supporting daily routines.

Being a friendly, familiar face that someone looks forward to seeing.

Sometimes the smallest things mean the most.
Why Work With Us?
We know how important it is to feel happy and appreciated at work.
As a small, close-knit company, we want our carers to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas and knowing they have someone to turn to.
What we offer:

£13.00 per hour weekdays.

£14.00 per hour weekends.

Paid mileage and fuel

Full-time and part-time opportunities.

Friendly, approachable management.

A small, welcoming team where you're treated as an individual.

The opportunity to work within your local community.

The chance to build genuine relationships with the people you support.

A growing company where your contribution really matters.

We're proud of the personal approach we take, both with our service users and our team.
Who Would Be a Great Fit?
You don't need qualifications or previous care experience to apply. What matters most to us is who you are as a person.
We're looking for someone who is:

Kind, caring and compassionate.

Reliable and trustworthy.

Friendly, chatty and approachable.

Patient and understanding.

Happy to work independently.

Respectful of people's dignity, choices and independence.

Someone who genuinely enjoys making others happy.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is a must, as you'll be visiting people in their own homes.
A Little Job That Can Make a Big Difference
Working in care isn't always about doing something extraordinary.
Sometimes it's making someone their favourite cup of tea, listening to a story they've told a hundred times, helping them get out into the community or simply making sure they don't feel alone.
Those little moments matter, and so do the people who make them happen.
If you're looking for a rewarding job with a small, friendly company where kindness comes first, we'd love to welcome you to Charnwood Community Care.
Come and be part of our little care family. Apply today!
