Community Center Guest Services

The Guest Services position at the Plymouth Community Center is responsible for providing a welcoming environment and excellent customer service to all facility users, ensuring that all internal and external services are provided in a friendly, efficient, and effective manner. Responsibilities include greeting all guests, processing point of sale tickets, program registrations, and customer interaction, both in person and over the phone.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Respond to questions and give information regarding facility amenities, schedules, programming, special events, fees, hours, etc.
• Troubleshoot concerns that may arise with customers, visitors or any groups using the facility or grounds.
• Assist full-time supervisory staff in specific tasks including but not limited to rentals, events, programs, projects, or customer service.
• Assist as needed with rental set ups, special events, playground supervision, recreation programs, or other areas necessary for Plymouth Community Center operations.
• Administrative support such as word processing, filing, cash handling, and record management.
• Monitor all activities throughout the building to ensure users’ needs are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized guest services desk.
• Ability to multi-task and work as a team to meet the needs of all user groups in the facility.

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Previous cash handling experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must enjoy serving the public.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.

Pay: $15.99 - $18.55 per hour
