Our Community Day Services (CDS) program provides adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to learn, build skills, work, socialize, and participate in meaningful activities throughout the day.

Our facility is designed around a variety of activities and experiences. Individuals may spend part of their day in a classroom setting and part of their day participating in hands-on projects, production and work activities, or other activities throughout the building. Community-based activities and outings are also part of the program.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll help individuals participate in these activities, develop skills, work toward personal goals, and build greater independence.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct support to individuals throughout their day
• Assist with classroom activities, hands-on projects, and production/work activities
• Support individuals in developing daily living, vocational, social, and community skills
• Encourage participation, independence, and personal choice
• Assist individuals with working toward their individual goals
• Participate in community activities and outings
• Provide guidance, encouragement, and assistance based on each individual's needs
• Complete daily documentation and required records
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment
• Follow individualized service plans and agency procedures
• Work as part of a team to provide consistent, person-centered support

DSP certification is preferred. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is also preferred.
