What they need
Your Organisation
Build connections. Strengthen communities. Make a genuine difference. Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation delivering essential support services across Australia. An exciting opportunity exists for two Community Engagement Coordinators to join a growing community-based program supporting carers throughout the Gold Coast and Scenic Rim region.
This is a rewarding and highly autonomous role that combines community engagement, stakeholder relationship management, outreach, service coordination and direct community support. Working across hospitals, health services, community organisations and local networks, you'll help connect carers with the information, resources and supports they need to thrive.
If you enjoy building meaningful relationships, working within your community and creating positive outcomes for others, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Your Role Based from the organisation's Nambour office, you'll work predominantly out in the community from a purpose-built Mobile Carer Hub, delivering outreach services across the Gold Coast and Scenic Rim. You'll help carers access the information, services and resources they need to sustain their caring role while building community partnerships, strengthening referral pathways and increasing awareness of available support services.
Regular travel throughout the region will see you engaging with hospitals, health professionals, community organisations, schools, aged care providers and other key stakeholders.
A key focus of the position is strengthening referral pathways, increasing community awareness and ensuring carers can access support when they need it most. You'll play an integral role in developing local partnerships and creating stronger connections between community services and those providing care to loved ones.

- Experience developing community partnerships and referral networks.
- A strengths-based, person-centred approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A genuine passion for supporting people and strengthening communities.
Essential Requirements
- Current unrestricted Driver's Licence.
- Confidence travelling regularly throughout the Gold Coast and Scenic Rim region.
- Confidence working within a mobile outreach environment.
- Willingness to assist with community events, information sessions and outreach activities.
