The Role

Play a key leadership role in shaping how TasWater engages with the community. You'll lead high-impact communications and engagement initiatives across our major capital works program, ensuring our customers, stakeholders and communities are informed, involved and supported throughout project delivery. By fostering trust, building strong relationships and providing strategic advice, you'll help create positive experiences while strengthening TasWater's reputation. • Proactively liaise with key TasWater stakeholders, to understand and identify their needs and expectations and work with them to achieve beneficial strategic outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice and leadership to project teams, developing engagement strategies that build trust, manage stakeholder relationships, and support successful project outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local councils, community groups, government agencies and project partners, to enhance TasWater's reputation and deliver positive community outcomes.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Community Engagement team, fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture while driving continuous improvement and best practice engagement.
