Community Engagement Officer

Community Engagement Officer | Aged Care & NDIS

Simply Helping South Brisbane is looking for a confident and engaging Community Engagement Officer to represent our in-home aged care and disability services across the community.

This is a casual, field-based role suited to someone who knows the home care sector, enjoys meeting people and can confidently represent a business independently. Training, resources and ongoing guidance will be provided.

You will:

• Manage information kiosks at shopping centres and proactively engage with the public
• Represent Simply Helping at aged care, disability and community expos
• Deliver short information and awareness sessions at retirement villages, residential clubs and community groups
• Attend local networking and community events
• Occasionally conduct face-to-face outreach to Support Coordinators, Aged Care Case Managers and other referral partners
• Confidently explain our services, answer general enquiries and capture leads for follow-up

Essential Requirements

• Previous aged care, home care and/or NDIS industry experience
• Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Blue Card / Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Australian working rights

• Able to represent the business independently

• Flexible with availability for kiosks, expos, presentations and occasional stakeholder visits
• Looking for an ongoing casual role with long-term commitment
