What they need

Nanyang Technological University is a leading global university recognised for excellence in education and research. Nanyang Business School (NBS) is one of Asia’s premier business schools, committed to delivering impactful education and driving innovation in teaching and engagement.

Nanyang Business School (NBS) is seeking a Programme Coordinator to support the development of the Community Immersion Programme (CIP), supported by the NBS30 Fund. The role will take ownership of assigned programme workstreams across local and overseas projects, working closely with students, faculty, alumni mentors, community partners, host universities and relevant NTU teams.

The role combines programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, data management and process improvement, with opportunities to contribute to the development and scaling of a new programme. The successful candidate will also leverage data, digital tools, automation and appropriate AI applications to enhance mentor matching, programme tracking, reporting and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee assigned local and overseas CIP projects and programme workstreams, from planning and onboarding through implementation, tracking and post-project follow-up.
  • Manage multiple project timelines, milestones and stakeholder deliverables, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of operational issues.
  • Develop effective working relationships with students, faculty, alumni mentors, NGOs, social enterprises, host universities and relevant NTU teams to align requirements and support programme coordination and delivery.
  • Support the identification and assessment of suitable community partners and alumni mentors, and recommend appropriate matches based on project requirements and established programme criteria.
  • Analyse alumni and programme data to support mentor matching, stakeholder engagement, programme tracking and reporting.
  • Identify and implement approved process improvements, including the use of digital tools, automation and appropriate AI applications to improve operational efficiency and data quality.
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for CIP launches, briefings, mentor sessions, student presentations and other programme activities.
  • Track programme participation, project progress and outcomes, and prepare dashboards, reports and updates for management, donors and relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyse programme feedback and data to identify trends, operational gaps and opportunities to enhance programme effectiveness and participant experience.
  • Support the continuous development and scaling of CIP processes and workflows as the programme grows.

Requirements:

  • Recognised Bachelor’s degree or Diploma with 3-4 years work experiences. Entry-level candidates with relevant experiences and interest are welcome to apply.
  • Good working knowledge of programme/project planning, stakeholder engagement and operational processes, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines and stakeholders concurrently.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and work collaboratively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, evaluate options and recommend practical solutions.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned workstreams from planning through implementation, monitoring and follow-up.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases and reporting tools, with the ability to use data to support programme tracking, analysis and reporting.
  • Ability and interest in using digital, automation and/or AI-enabled tools to improve programme processes, data management and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement approved enhancements.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare clear programme updates, reports and other materials.
  • Proactive, resourceful and adaptable, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability and the ability to work independently in a developing programme environment.
  • Experience or knowledge in community engagement, student development, alumni relations, social impact programmes, events or education-related programmes would be advantageous.

We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
