Community Navigator

Purpose of the Role

The Community Navigator will provide administrative and community support to the Youth Employment Programme, The CDTO Programme and the Driving License programme.

The person plays a critical role in supporting Pacific families and high-needs youth to achieve self-determination, holistic wellbeing, and long-term stability. Grounded in Pacific values and the Fofola e fala framework, this specialised role walks alongside young people and Pacific families to address complex challenges, provide targeted interventions, and advocate for their aspirations.

In addition to core community navigation, this position holds dedicated responsibility for driving four key focus areas:

1. Youth Employment Pathways: Connecting young people (school leavers and young adults) to training, trade apprenticeships, career mentorship, and sustainable entry-level employment.
2. CDTO (Community Driver Testing Officer) : Delivering targeted prevention, early intervention, and safe alternative pathways for vulnerable youth and their families.
3. Drivers License: Support the workshops and testing of DL clients to achieve their Driver License.
