Community Pharmacist

About the role

IMED PHARMACY CORP. is looking for a Registered Pharmacist to join our growing team as a Community Pharmacist. As a community-based retail pharmacy, IMED provides customers with access to medicines, health and wellness products, health & beauty items, food, non-food products, and a coffee shop within the store. This position goes beyond traditional dispensing. The Community Pharmacist will provide professional pharmacy services while also contributing to customer service, inventory management, product knowledge, and overall store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines accurately and safely
• Review prescriptions and ensure proper dispensing in accordance with applicable regulations
• Provide appropriate medication information and counseling to patients and customers
• Answer pharmacy-related inquiries and provide professional guidance within the scope of practice
• Promote the safe and responsible use of medicines
• Maintain proper storage, handling, and security of pharmaceutical products
• Ensure accurate and complete pharmacy documentation and records
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Monitor inventory levels of medicines, pharmaceutical products, and health-related items
• Check incoming deliveries and ensure proper receiving and documentation

About you

• Must be a Registered Pharmacist (RPh)
• Must have a valid PRC Pharmacist License
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and dispensing procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-service oriented and approachable
• Organized, responsible, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to work in a fast-paced community retail environment
• Willing to participate in overall store operations when needed
