  • Recommend appropriate over-the-counter medications and provide professional healthcare advice within the scope of pharmacy practice.

  • Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including stock monitoring, ordering, receiving, and proper storage of medications.

  • Monitor expiry dates and ensure expired, damaged, or compromised products are promptly removed from stock.

  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medication sales, inventory, and controlled medicines where applicable.

  • Ensure compliance with Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) regulations and other relevant pharmaceutical standards.

  • Support daily pharmacy operations, maintain a clean and organised pharmacy environment, and deliver excellent customer service.

  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions and address patients' medication-related needs.

  • Assist with stock-taking, procurement, and inventory reconciliation.

  • Stay updated on pharmaceutical products, medication safety practices, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognised institution.

  • Must be registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and hold a valid licence to practise in Nigeria.

  • Demonstrable experience in prescription dispensing, OTC medication management, and patient counselling.

  • Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical inventory management, stock control, and expiry monitoring.

  • Good understanding of pharmacy regulations, medication safety, and professional ethics.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and customer service skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, sound professional judgement, and the ability to work independently.
