Community Programme Officer (5.5 Days)

What you'll be doing

• Plan, organise and conduct active ageing programmes and activities for seniors in the community
• Ensure programmes meet service standards and achieve intended outcomes in participation and client engagement
• Identify the needs and interests of service users and develop new programmes or services to address them
• Gather feedback and evaluate programme effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements
• Coordinate communications and collaborate with community partners, external organisations and stakeholders to deliver programmes and services
• Guide and support volunteers in carrying out programme activities and engaging seniors
• Manage programme budgets, resources and logistical arrangements to ensure smooth execution
• Support community engagement initiatives and other related duties as assigned

What we're looking for

• Diploma in Community Development/ Social Sciences/ Gerontology/ Healthcare or a related discipline
• 2 - 5 years of working experience in programme coordination, community engagement, eldercare or social services will be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage seniors, volunteers and community stakeholders
• Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple programmes and activities
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with different community partners
• Passionate about supporting seniors and promoting active ageing in the community
