***Position Now Available:***Community Program Manager

Williamsville, NY

Monday- Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

$22.89 per hour

As a Community Program Manager, you will provide supervision to Direct Support Professionals employed in the Community Habilitation Program.

Key Duties:

• Ensures that staff are properly trained to work with individuals with varied disabilities, using proactive behavioral approaches
• Oversees direct care services to people we support in areas such as, but not limited to activities of daily living, self-care skills, travel training, money management, community integration and connections, cooking and cleaning skills.
• Coordinates interviews and is responsible for hiring, orientation, scheduling and ongoing development of direct care staff, including annual evaluations.
• Completes all required documentation for the people we support and agency records; oversees maintenance of those records as appropriate

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or a closely related developmental disabilities field PLUS one year of experience working with people with disabilities

OR

• Associate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or a closely related developmental disabilities field PLUS three years of experience working with people with disabilities

OR

• High School or equivalent diploma PLUS five years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities

PLUS

• It is essential that the Program Manager have good communication skills – both oral and written. Ability to supervise activities of staff members and program participants is required. Must have manual dexterity, visual acuity in normal range, and the ability to work alone and with others.
• A valid New York State Driver’s License and approved driving record. Ownership or access to an insured car in good operating condition is desirable.
