The Community Relations Representative home health marketing representative is a qualified healthcare professional that performs public relations activities and develops working relationships with physicians and referral sources. The home health marketing representative will develop a working relationship with area physicians, case managers and other interested parties for the benefit of THERAPY 2000 and its’ patients, working in conjunction with the Regional Marketing Manager.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• Preferred: a licensed healthcare professional with minimum of bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent administrative communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise other office personnel.
• Working knowledge of standard (MS Windows) software applications required.
• Knowledge of Medicaid / Medicare services preferred.
• Experience in patient record documentation and medical office and home health service processes required.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to physically and legally operate a vehicle

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Manage and develop an assigned Sales Territory including Hospitals, Clinics, Specialists and Social Workers and Case Managers.
• Establish co-marketing opportunities within community of DME, Medical Supplies and Medical Vendors.
• Organize & coordinate call rotation to maximize market impact in all lines of business. This will include in-services, cold calls and maintenance calls.
• Provide education to caregivers/patients on services provided & continuous care coordination options when needed.
• Correspond with physicians/ case managers / referral coordinators to ensure satisfaction with our services.
• Develop new referral sources and increase brand awareness through networking and community events.
• Organize and Represent Therapy 2000 at resource fairs, health fairs, and/or community events.
• Routinely meet with other agencies at networking events to build rapport & ascertain industry changes.
• Ability to track, analyze & report readmission data & provide updates as needed to Regional Marketing Manager and other stakeholders of the division.
• Responsible for budget tracking and cost managing of expenses monthly according to the Therapy 2000 expense policy.
• Meet or exceed monthly referral & admit goals for assigned territory.
• Build cohesive relationships with Divisional Director, Clinical Team Leaders, PSS and PSM staff and other stakeholders of the division to assess needs and increase patient census.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices & procedures.
• Take on additional responsibilities as need.
• Adheres to all rules, regulations, code of ethics, guidelines and codes in federal, state and local laws which are concerned with the delivery of home-based therapy services
