Community Representative

Aza Services is a licensed Minnesota 245D home and community based services agency. We support adults with disabilities and older adults in their own homes.

We are looking for an independent contractor to represent Aza Services at community events across the Twin Cities. You are the person people meet when they meet Aza Services.

We pay a flat fee per event. We currently have events scheduled and expect to add more.

What you'll do

• Represent Aza Services at health fairs, provider meetings, community events and conferences
• Set up and staff our table or booth, and pack it up at the end
• Talk with case managers, families and community partners about the services we provide
• Collect business cards and contact information and hand everything to our office after the event
• Tell us what you heard — what people asked about, what they needed, who seemed interested
• Let us know about other events worth attending

What we're looking for

• Comfortable starting conversations with people you've never met
• Presentable, reliable and on time — events don't wait
• Knows the Twin Cities, or willing to travel across the metro
• Familiarity with Minnesota home care, disability services or county case management is a strong plus
• Own transportation
• Available some evenings and weekends, which is when events happen
• Able to represent a healthcare provider professionally

Pay and terms

• $100+ per event for a half day, up to 5 hours, including setup and teardown
• $150+ per event for a full day, 6 hours or more
• Events are offered to you as we schedule them. You accept the ones you want.

This is a 1099 contractor position. You set your own schedule around the events you agree to. You are responsible for your own taxes. This is not an employment offer and there is no guaranteed number of events.
