Community Specialist

About the role

As a Community Specialist, you will be responsible for building and managing an engaged beauty community through WhatsApp, Instagram, and offline activities. You will handle member recruitment, engagement, events, and community relationships to support brand growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture an active community across WhatsApp groups/channels and Instagram by initiating conversations, maintaining relationships, and creating meaningful member interactions
• Source and approach potential community members by identifying, listing, screening, sorting, and onboarding members based on defined community criteria
• Plan and execute engaging online and offline community programs, events, workshops, and sharing sessions from concept development through execution and post-event follow-up
• Develop and implement engagement initiatives that encourage member participation, strengthen retention, and turn community members into active brand advocates
• Collect and translate community feedback, needs, and insights into relevant programs, activities, and opportunities that improve the overall community experience
• Collaborate and coordinate with Marketing, Social Media, KOL/Affiliate, Product, and other internal teams to execute campaigns, product initiatives, and community activations
• Track and evaluate community growth and engagement through member activity, event participation, and other relevant metrics, while identifying opportunities based on beauty, hair care, lifestyle, and social media trends

About you

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in community management or a related role
• Experience managing beauty communities, hair care experience is a plus
• Experienced in member recruitment, listing, screening, and sorting
• Experienced in organizing online and offline events
• Comfortable managing communities through WhatsApp, TikTok, and Instagram
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Familiar with beauty, hair care, lifestyle, and social media trends
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
• Willing to work full WFO in Sunter, North Jakarta
