Working Hours: 37 per week (148 hours over 4 weeks)
Interview Date(s): Tuesday 10th November
We’re looking for compassionate people who are truly motivated to make a positive difference.
Our Supported Living service provides a welcoming home for 12 adults with learning disabilities or complex needs, living across two comfortable bungalows.
Are you kind, patient, hardworking, and naturally great with people? Do you take pride in delivering high‑quality support and empowering others to live more independently? Are you ready for a fresh challenge where you can genuinely transform lives? If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
About you…….
- You have a naturally caring and compassionate approach
- You build relationships easily and earn trust
- You’re eager to learn and develop new skills
- You’re dedicated to putting the people you support at the heart of what you do
About the Role
As part of our Community Support Services, you will work in our Supported Living service and you’ll also have the chance to gain experience across Day Opportunities, and MiCare services.
The role includes some evening, weekend, and bank holiday work to ensure we meet the needs of those we support. However, we are flexible and willing to consider different working patterns to suit your lifestyle.
Because of the nature of the job, some physical tasks such as moving and handling and providing personal care are required.
Previous experience is helpful but not essential. We offer a thorough induction, personalised training, and full funding to complete the QCF Diploma and Level 2 Health and Social Care qualifications.
Additional Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Costs for the DBS are covered by Rutland County Council.
Please note that you will need a full driving licence to enable you to travel across the county.
For an informal conversation about the role please contact Helen Wells, Senior Practitioner, Community Support Services on 01572 758360 or at [email protected]
We review applications frequently; however, in periods of high demand, the role may close earlier than advertised, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
Our benefits
- Competitive salary
- Generous annual leave entitlement
- Local Government Pension Scheme
- A strong focus on health, wellbeing, and work-life balance
