Company Development Co-ordinator

Dene Valley Community Partnership is a small independent charity providing a range of support services and facilities based in Eldon Lane on the outskirts of Bishop Auckland.

This is a challenging position and offers an excellent opportunity to develop the post further through the development of new activities and facilities achieved by working with, and appropriate for, the local community. Reporting to the Trustees you will ensure the centre is maintained as a well-run welcoming place for local people of all ages.

Candidates would ideally have previous experience in the charity sector, managing personnel and working with a wide range of vulnerable people. You should have good verbal and written communication skills, including use of social media, with a flexible work approach and have the ability to identify and prioritise your workload effectively.

You will be responsible for the administration and management of the centre and its service provision including :-

· Assisting in the general running of the building and its facilities

· Identifying funding sources and making grant applications

· Planning for the future

· Liaising and networking with various support organisations

· Financial management

· Recruiting and management of staff and volunteers

Pay: From £25,420.00 per year
