Company Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and Transport: Load products into the company vehicle, properly secure cargo to prevent damage, and drive along assigned routes to deliver goods safely and on time.
• Inspection and Verification: Check delivery receipts, invoices, and actual stock before departure. Conduct daily vehicle inspections, including tires, oil, brakes, lights, and other essential components.
• Documentation and Payments: Obtain customer signatures on delivery receipts, complete required delivery documents, and collect cash or check payments when authorized.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good condition, refuel as needed, and immediately report any mechanical issues or maintenance concerns.
• Customer Service: Respond to basic customer inquiries, address minor delivery concerns professionally, and maintain a courteous and professional image of the company.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow traffic laws, company policies, delivery procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
• Other Duties: Perform other delivery-related tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills

• License: Must have a valid Professional Driver’s License with the appropriate restriction code/s for the assigned vehicle type, such as motorcycle, van, or light truck.
• Driving Record: Must have a good driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Navigation Skills: Good knowledge of local roads and proficiency in using GPS navigation applications such as Waze or Google Maps.
• Physical Fitness: Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading boxes or cargo weighing up to approximately 50 lbs., when required.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience as a delivery driver, company driver, or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Reliability: Punctual, responsible, trustworthy, and able to follow instructions and assigned delivery schedules.
• Work Attitude: Willing to work flexible hours, travel to different locations, and perform duties in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: Php700.00 per day
