Company Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and experienced Company Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation for company staff, clients, documents, goods, and materials. The successful candidate must be punctual, professional, familiar with local routes, and committed to maintaining the assigned company vehicle in excellent condition.

Job Description

• Safely transport company staff, clients, documents, goods, and materials to designated locations.
• Drive responsibly and comply with all traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Plan efficient routes and monitor traffic and road conditions.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure company goods and materials are properly secured during transportation.
• Assist with official errands, deliveries, collections, and other company-related duties.
• Ensure the vehicle is serviced and maintained according to the recommended schedule.
• Report accidents, breakdowns, or other vehicle-related incidents immediately.
• Maintain confidentiality when transporting company staff, clients, or sensitive documents.
• Ensure all vehicle documents, licences, and insurance requirements are up to date.
• Provide professional and courteous service to staff and clients.
• Perform other driving and logistics-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements/Skills

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO.
• Valid Nigerian driver's licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• Proven years of professional driving experience, preferably as a company driver.
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Clean driving record and strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and responsible.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.
• Good personal appearance and professional conduct.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle company property responsibly.

Pay: ₦90,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
