Company Driver

Overview
We are seeking experienced Truck Owner Operators to join our team for local and regional intermodal transportation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting containers between rail ramps, customer facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers.

This position is ideal for an Owner Operator who has experience with intermodal container transportation and is familiar with working at rail ramps and customer facilities.

Duties

• Safely operate a tractor and chassis to transport intermodal containers on local and regional routes.
• Pick up and deliver containers between rail ramps, customer facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers.
• Follow all company, customer, rail ramp, and DOT safety requirements.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure the truck and equipment are safe and roadworthy.
• Check container, chassis, seal, and documentation before and after each move.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding pickup and delivery status, appointment times, delays, and any issues encountered.
• Arrive on time for scheduled appointments and follow customer and rail ramp procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel, delivery information, and required documentation.
• Take required photos and provide BOLs, interchange receipts, and other documents when requested.
• Report equipment issues, delays, accidents, or other problems to dispatch promptly.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the container and cargo throughout the trip.

Requirements

• Must be a Truck Owner Operator with a reliable tractor.
• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Previous intermodal or container hauling experience preferred.
• Experience working with rail ramps is a strong advantage.
• Ability to operate safely in local and regional areas.
• Good knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and rail ramp personnel.
• Dependable, professional, and safety-focused.
• Must be able to manage pickup and delivery appointments and required paperwork.
• Must have the required insurance and operating authority/documents for Owner Operator work.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per week
